Brush Up on Oral Health ! Impact Grants - DentaQuest Fund

The Brush Up on Oral Health ! campaign is a community-driven alliance convened by Berks County Community Foundation to turn the tide on the county’s poor oral health, specifically for children. The campaign team is committed to increasing the number of parents and caregivers who understand the importance of their children’s oral health.

The campaign will accept applications from organizations that will plan, develop, and/or implement collaborative efforts to increase oral health literacy and access to services and to identify and/or advocate for necessary systemic changes to increase oral health in Berks County. Applications will also be considered for programs that will address the oral health disparities for children under age 12, and in particular, those under age 5. The programs can reach parents, grandparents, and/or children but must be focused on improving oral health for Berks County children.

Specifically, we are interested in closing the oral health disparity gaps across the county so that 85% of children reach age five without a cavity by the year 2020.

The maximum grant provided from this opportunity is $10,000. Grants will be awarded for a period of one year.

Deadline to apply is June 30th.

Decisions will be announced by the end of August.
